The historic building used to be a Military Hospital, destroyed as a result of warfare, in the early 1950s it was a Scout’s House, and after that it was transformed into a Community Center for Children and Youth. The 50-year history of the facility is extremely rich in events, achievements and successes.
Nowadays, there are art, vocal, art, linguistic, technical and photographic workshops, martial arts, group sports.
Close to the building there is a skate park where the skateboarders make performances. Next to it is the longest mural in Tarnów “A long time ago” colorful, stimulates the imagination, depicting blackthorn bushes and inventions of Jan Szczepanik (“Polish Edison”) in the field of photography, the author of the mural is Mikołaj Rejs.
