Church of Our Lady of Fatima and St.. Joseph, Helena and Roman Hussarscy, Pieta above the side entrance (piropiktura), 1960

The church was raised in 1957-1960 due to architects’ team of Jerzy Kozłowski, Krystian Seibert and Zbigniew Wolak. On the apse’s outer wall there is a sculpture of Crucified Christ made by Jerzy Bereś and Maria Bereś. On the outside above the western side there is a Pieta made by Helena Husarska and Roman Husarskiusing piropicture techniqe. Stained glass windows, which were made by Tadeusz Wojciechowski in 1972, present the inauguration of Second Vatican Council with Pope John Paul II’s figure.
