St. Margaret’s church in Dębno is located south from the castle in Dębno. The construction was started by chancellor of the crown Jakub of Dębno and completed by his son Jakub Szczekocki. The church was erected a little later than the castle, at the turn of the 16th century. St. Margaret’s church is a late Gothic, one-nave building, masoned with irregular stone ashlars and bricks. The sacristy with a later built vestibule adjoins the narrower rectangular chancel from the north. On the western side the tower on a square plan with a church porch in the basement adjoins the nave. Another church porch adjoins the nave in the south. In the main altar there is a late Gothic painted triptych dated from 1510-1520, founded by Jakub of Dębno and his wife Barbara maiden name Jarosławska (the original is in the National Museum in Cracow). The Neo-Gothic lateral altars come from about 1900. The Neo Baroque pulpit of about 1900. The wooden Neo-Gothic baptismal font of about 1900. The Rococo 12-vocal organ of about 1800.
