This cemetery is one of the oldest in Poland. Once established in the suburbs of Zabłocie, today it is located in the city center. There are two chapels in it, the Radzikowski and the Saganuszko chapels. The cemetery is the burial place of, among others, insurgents from 1863, legionnaires and soldiers of World War I, as well as soldiers of Września and the Home Army.
