The Ethnographic Museum is located in a Baroque manor in Krakowska street. First of all it is famous for the exhibition concerning the Romani (Gypsy) history and culture on the background of European history. It also holds precious collections of ancient rural craft and folk art. The museum organizes temporary exhibitions and various types of events connected with presentation of folk customs. At the back of the manor one can see a wooden lumber room, the oldest wooden building in Tarnów, and Gypsy carts.
