Suburban manor house in ul. Batorego 19

The manor house was built in the beginning of the 19 th century as one of many suburban houses being a simplified version of the classicist manor house with a column portico. At the turn of the 20 th century there lived the Kostaś’s who received it from prince Eustachy Sanguszko. Tadeusz Kostaś was the prince’s major-domo, and his wife was a midwife appreciated in the town. The building has survived till our times due to the efforts of Ms. Danuta Gryl, the Kostaś’s granddaughter, a music teacher, who lived in the manor house all her life. Nevertheless, it was in a very bad technical condition, In 2017 the manor house was bought by the owner of Cristal Park network hotels and after a thorough renovation he opened “Różana” restaurant there (called after the name of Batorego street, which before the second world war was called Różana street).
