Palace Sanguszko (Sobieski square) CK Starostwo
Prince Hieronim Sanguszko built C.K. starostwo’s dwelling in 1786-1796 as its first dwelling, which was named “Furrst Haus” (princely house) by Franz von Grotter, author of the first Tarnów plan. That was its role up to last years of 19th century when a summer palace was built in the old Tarnów’s Gumniska at the time. Around the year of 1821, it was remould to Tarnów Starostwo’s dwelling. In 1867, the palace was extended by adding two pair of extreme axes. Sometime later C.K. starostwo’s facade received electric decor mantained to this day.
