The church was erected in 1887-1893 according to the design of Jan Sas-Zubrzycki, and architect. The church was built in the neo-Gothic style. It is brick. Inside there are 5 altars. The main altar is embellished with a painting of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa. In the eastern side nave we can admire a wooden altar in which there is a figure of the Mother of God and the Baby. Outside the church, in the western part of square, there is a figure of St. Bartholomew the Apostle.
