The Communal Cultural Centre is located in the building of the Wincenty Witos Polish Village Cultural Centre in Wierzchosławice. It organizes cultural, educational, gastronomical, and recreational and sports activities. In 1975, the name Wincenty Witos People’s House was changed into the Communal Cultural Centre in Wierzchosławice due to the reorganization of municipal educational centres. Previously, the People’s House was a place of international importance, visited by famous politicians. On the 29th of August, 1999, during the Communal Dożynki (dożynki is a Slavic harvest festival), there was a partnership agreement signed in the “Hall of Voyts” by two municipalities: Wierzchosławice and Rákóczifalva, a village in Hungary.
