World War I cemetery where Austrian and Russian soldiers who died in the fighting in 1914 were buried. The Lviv corps tried to stop the advancing Russian troops, but was ousted. A number of skirmishes took place here, and the town of Sterkowiec was burnt down. Several hundred soldiers were killed.
