Mural on the Hungarian Square

To the left side of General Józef Bem, situated on Hungarian square in Tarnów, on a tenement wall there is a mural with a portion of “Transylvanian Panorama”, which presents general Józef Bem with his staff on the 11th of March 1849, the day of Battle of Sybin. Mural was created by Anna Kropiowska, a Tarnów artist, and it was herebly revealed on 14th of October 2017, 120th anniversary of first public presentation of Jan Styka’s “Transylvanian Panorama” in Lviv. The works regarding 12m tall and 17m wide mural have lasted for about a month.
