Oak nature monument
The magnificent oak “Władysław” with a circumference of 450 cm is named after prof. Władysław Szafer (1886-1970), a world-renowned botanist and promoter of natural science, father of Polish nature protection, co-creator of many national parks and nature reserves, author of about 70 scientific works, incl. co-author of the edition of “Flora Polski”, the key “Polish Plants”, the work “Polish flora”.
