Monument to the military action of the Gray Ranks. In July 1944, a plane that landed in the meadows of Jadowniki as part of the “Bridge III” operation brought mail, explosives and other parcels to Poland. A team from the “Monika” Szarych Szeregi facility from Mościce was sent to protect them. On July 29, 1944, they found themselves in the village of Biała, where an underground meeting of the local Home Army unit “Klementyna” was held. Summoned to protect the meeting, they engaged in a skirmish with the Germans, in which three partisans were killed.
