33-240 Odporyszów

Its collections are devoted to the work of the sculptor Jan Wnek. The facility is a branch of the Diocesan Museum in Tarnów. The beginnings of the museum collection date back to 1978, when the curator of the sanctuary – Fr. Henryk Chojnacki CM collected the sculptor’s works and placed them in the church tower. The museum itself was established in 1991 with the transfer of Jan Wnek’s sculptures to a specially prepared building. In 2009, with the participation of the Malopolska Institute of Culture in Krakow, the exhibition was rebuilt. Its collections mainly include works on biblical topics.
